About Aurora at UGA
Aurora at UGA is a nonprofit student organization that aims to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings.
We accomplish this mission through year-round programs designed to provide happiness to them during challenging times. Some of these programs include attending Fun Days, which are events at which we volunteer and take the children on fun adventures to trampoline parks, the movies, corn mazes, parks and more.
We also write letters to children battling cancer, create goody bags to distribute at the hospitals, fundraise through engaging and creative events, and more. Our primary purpose is to spread joy to these children! Aurora at UGA is a subsidiary of the nonprofit Aurora Day Camp, a Sunrise Association member based in Atlanta, Georgia.
